This park has been completely fenced in, but is still not escape-proof. It has a separately fenced in agility area with several items for training, located at the south end of the park. There is also a smaller fenced-in area near the main entrance for small dogs to play unleashed.

The main attraction at Patmore Pit is w-i-d-e open space for unrestrained games of Frisbee or fetch. It is a huge park with some wooded areas, and lots of wide open fields. Portions of the fields are left to grow tall while other spots are shorter.

It offers users bottled water for the dogs (filled by volunteers), doggie waste bags, and a port-o-let for humans.

No seating, no shelter, no running water.
