Opened Fall 2008. This dog park has a separate small dog area and drinking fountains. All dogs must wear a license from their city and have proof of rabies vaccination.

The $8.00 fee for residents is covered by your dog's license so the park is really free for residents. My dog is viewing the new grassed area with anticipaton of its opening. As a Basset she is a pack animal and loves all of the dogs that come to play. Good job West Jordan
Maybe your eagle project is done by now, but I think work on the dog park is a great idea. I would love to see some agility equipment: a tunnel the dogs can crawl through, poles they can weave in between, slant boards they can climb up and down. Of course I've always wished there would be water they could play in other than the occasional mud puddle. Best of luck!
I would like to see more grass!!!!, a part just for a small dogs, cement tubes so dogs can play around, covered seats so on snow day we can be inside watching the dogs playing, we need a lot more there!!!! This is not even close to the Taylorsville dog park, I live in West Jordan but I'm using Taylorsville dog park, much better!!!! Thank for your willingness to do this project!!!! My dogs will love it!!
I feel proud for you. I made it to life then messed up and spent all my time with a girl. Follow through with this or any other project just do what it takes to get it. Once you have it nobody can take that away from you and trust me being an eagle says a lot about you and will show your integrity and honor and ability to follow through. I have hired every eagle scout that has ever applied at my company and have never regretted a single one. Good luck
Grass and thing. Go look at the park in Taylorsville!!! It a great park!!! NO weeds!! A place where people want to bring there dog to play, what dogs like!!! PLAY!!!
I want to do an Eagle project for the dog park. Which would include some type of improvement. What would you like to see improved at this dog park in West Jordan?
Sometimes it takes time for a dog park to become popular. Give it a while maybe more people will learn about this park.
I have brought my dog here numerous times and everytime i come there are maybe 1 or 2 other dogs. but these dogs do not want ot play with my hyper boxer
