There is plans to equip the park with a rinse station and agility equipment.

My Golden loves this park...
Went to the park for the first time last week-end. Very nice and much land for dogs to run. Pond is great for the water loving breeds. Will go again. Only thing I could wish for would be an agility course for the dogs like some tire jumps, weave poles, ramps, tunnels and chutes.
I love bringing my dog to this park! I live across the street from it so I don't even have to get in the car. It's good exercise for the both of us. I wonder, though, how long is the trail?
Wonderful off leash dog park. We have been bringing our aussie shepherd puppy since he was 4 months old. He is 9 months old and we have met terrific people and great playmates for our dog.
More benches have been added. Also, more trash cans with bag stations have been added. Still plenty of open space. Lots of trees and plenty of squirrel's to chase.
This park is great. We also love the fact that this option is now available in Katy. The Yorkies and Labs all love the pond and fields to play in. I HIGHLY recommend this if you are in the area.
We thought the park was awesome! Very clean! Not as crowded as other parks, for sure! We will definately go again! Our two Dogs loved it, and I would also like to add how clean the water is! Although I do agree with the other person on that you need more benches around the pond.
The dog park in Katy is great. There are 5 comfortable metal benches, a nice swimming pond, a covered dog washing area, a walking track, 4 large trash bins with courtesy "waste bags", and ample running room for your furry friend. Usually there are also plenty of potential new friends for your dog to meet and run around with, not to mention a plethora of squirrels to be chased up the numerous trees. Most of the time the people that frequent this park are very friendly, but as with anywhere these days you will find a bad apple (usually the owner, not the dog) from time to time. I highly recommend this park.
This dog park is very relaxing and very nice to go to. It is right next to the library so you can grab a book and read while your dog is having fun too. The people that go are really nice as well too. It could use a few benches next to the pond though but other than that it is a great park. I am so glad there is finally one in Katy, so I don't have to go clear to houston take take my dog to the park.
