Me and my friends often bring our dogs to this park. I have a Pekignese, and one friend has a Pap/Chihuahua mix and the other has two Pap/American Eskimo mixes, and this park is usually very empty in the early part of the day, but it gets quite busy as the day goes on. Sometimes there are little poops in the grass but not so many that you can't walk around them. The dogs are always very pleasent, and usually the owners are too. I've always had good experiences here.
Everything what the comment below said is true, except there were more dogs when we went. We have an Australian Shephard who is friendly and social... their dogs not so much. A few dogs acted very territorial and aggressive in the bigger pen and the dog owners completey ignored them and just sat around in their camping chairs. A few dogs wanted to play nice, but just be advised. Watch out for mudholes and "presents" left in the grass.
We brought our Boxer and Cocker Spaniel here and the large dog side was filled with dog pooh. The side for smaller dogs was better, but not enough for me to keep bringing our dogs back. All of the water spigots were not working and the only restroom that I saw was an outhouse. On the plus side, it was empty, not a soul in sight on a Wed morning. My dogs got to be in the same side and play with each other.
