i used to go there all the time to help a family friend with her scottie's for the dog shows, that was like about 10 yrs ago, i am glad to see it is still there and has been improved :)
There is a guy there that if your dog goes up to his little medium sized white and brown dog he like starts hitting your dog and he has done it a few times to my dog. My dog is a husky names Jedi and he is only 8 months and just wants to play and well I take him everyday. Today I took him and Jedi was trying to play with his dog and he like started to like raise my dog by the collar and I asked him nicely not to do that. He started to swear at me and said he would put my dog down.??? Seriously cause he wants to play. So, I told the guy not to bring his dog if he doesn't want them to play and he called me names and swear words not to be repeated.. and said I'm going to put your dog down if he comes near my dog again and I will hit you...I was in shock. I love that dog park I go everyday ... and I don't like seeing such nasty people at the dog park! Sorry I needed to vent! And I don't feel same there anymore.. I'm not going to go alone anymore and he always wears a red jacket and he is tall so look out!! And his dog is like 25 to 30 pounds and he walks around the big area with his dog..! Soooo watch out!
Nice, big dog park with plenty of space to run and play. This dog park is one of the oldest in the Valley and thus has mature landsacpe (aka big trees). There is a grass is most of the dog park areas.
Note: Some evenings and weekends groups reserve the park for dog shows and related activities. You won't be able to use the park as usual at that time.
Great park will be even better with the new area 4 up grades coming soon
I have taken my dogs to that park many times. The dogs love it and so do I. There are 4 different fenced in areas plus that wide open field. Plenty of benches to rest on for the owners. We just love it.
