My daughter and I were on a road trip this summer (with a high energy 6-month old Pointer puppy) and stopped here to let our dog stretch her legs a bit. We were pleasantly surprised with how warm and friendly the other dog owners were and how beautiful and dog-friendly the park itself is. Heidi loved running after balls my daughter tossed into the pond and there was plenty of room for her to run around afterwards to dry off before getting back into the car. It was great that there were some chairs in the shade, where we could sit and relax while she ran around like crazy.
