Opened October 2006. Dog Owners Group of Spokane for Parks (SCRAPS DOGS) supports this park. This dog park is next to Milepost 1 of the Centennial Trail and use to be a rest stop on I-90 (exit 299)

This is one of our favorite rest stops, when driving across country. I've stopped here over a dozen times. The park is run by SCRAPS, a joint government/volunteer project. It's nice to have the paths through the trees, people get to stretch their legs after a long drive, too.
This is the only dedicated dog park I have been to, so I don't have much to compare it to. It seemed well thought-out, and our dog had a great time. It is in Spokane County, Washington just outside of Liberty Lake.
This is a good park but dont call it a Spokane dog park when its 15 miles away. It might just as well be a Idaho dog park
My dog is 9 years old and had never been to a dog park. He had a GREAT time!!! Tons of room for running, lots of trees for peeing, and friendly dogs to sniff. There were bags provided for clean up, but the trash was over flowing with bags of pooh......yuck. Over all my dog and I give it four paws up!
