Butcher Dog Park in the Cambrian area of San Jose is a great new dog park. Opened in the Fall of 2007, this park attracted a lot of attention as a modern addition to a dog friendly area. There are a lot of great dogs and people that visit this small park. A local Beagles Meetup group has visited this park and it is usually packed with people.

Dory, is your half beagle/half terrier mix that has been spotlighted a few times already. She love meeting all the new dogs, but sometimes when the park is crowded she sticks close to us. We grew up in this neighborhood, so we were very excited when the city finally attached a dog park here.

How often do youcome to Butcher Park?
I am curious how often people come to the park? We are glad that there are many well mannered pooches, and people to talk to, at almost any time of day. Has that been your experience as well?
Or dog Rupert goes more often than we do, thanks to an eager neighbor who can a great playmate for him.
