Dory Lazing Around
The other night we came and found Dory upside down on the couch with a blanket just sleeping. Every now and then we catch either Dory or Farley upside down on the couch.
Gus-gus sitting on Dory
This is Gus-Gus sitting on Dory and they are both falling asleep. They love being on the couch and together but this is a little too close I would think for comfort. But it makes for a great picture.
Dory's House
Dory came to us from a rescue and was completely crate trained. She just loves her crate and knows it as "Dory's House." We now just leave the door open since she is completely potty trained and nightly she will go put herself to bed. After she puts herself to bed she gets mad at us for not going to bed early enough and leaving the light on too late and will just stare at us. I think she feels safe in her crate, we try to keep it her safe spot and actually have it behind a chair. I lined the bottom with kitty litter to absorb odor and also so it is softer to sleep on than the molded plastic. Then the gravel is covered with blankets and her "princess" (red velvet) pillow.
RV Days
Dory always finds the sunniest spot to stretch out where ever she is. This day she happens to be the RV up on the main bed just enjoying the warmth.
Couch Potato Dory
So I left my dog in my brother's care for a few days and got this email while my dog was at his place... "I felt morally mandated to inform you that your dog has adapted somewhat since you saw her last. Apparently, the temptation to conform has overtaken her. Enclosed is visual evidence not only of her recent transformation, but the insidious and irreversible effects of my tutelage. I only hope that you can find solace in the information that she has actualized her potential regardless of opposable thumbs and increased her Fine Motor Skills of the Paw (FMS-P) tenfold. My most sincere apologies, Your brother. P.S. (Translation): Yo puppy's lazy! Yo puppy's la-zy. I made her la-zy. She watches T.-V.!!!! And I taught her to flip channels like a man!"
Couch Potatoes
All of our dogs are currently hound mixes. They have their lazy moments and we are constantly watching their weight. The males are both half basset hound and some of the laziest dogs we have had. Tired dogs can be the funniest to photograph.
