Gus-Gus in Socks

Gus in socks

Gus-Gus is not just dressing up for the fun of it.  He has skin allergies and will not stop scratching himself.  The socks keep his claws from scratching his skin.  This also keeps his feet off of the lawn.  And I find it terribly cute.  We bought a bunch of baby socks and have to wash them all the time.

Gus-Gus Dress Up

Easter Ears Gus

Gus-Gus is ready for every occasion.  He is a docile dog and loves to dress up because he gets to be the center of attention.  Gus-Gus loves it when the camera comes out and just follows us around.  He knows that he gets all the love and dog biscuits when he dresses up.  He has a great ability to just lounge around in all kinds of hats.

Farley Dress Up

Farley looks a bit like snoopy when he dresses up.  He is ready to snowboard or go sledding.  Then he also wears a Christmas hat while lounging.  Farley is one a lazy hound. We love our old pal.

Christmas Time

We try and get a picture every year with all the dogs in it for Christmas.  It is hard to get multiple dogs to sit still close together.  This year was the easiest time we had to get them all to stay.  We had some trouble keeping Gus-Gus from yawning since I got the camera out around 11pm.  It also helped that the two young dogs had gone to puppy boot camp this year and know commands like sit and stay and will do anything for dog cookies.  Farley is older and will sit and stay anytime for us.  They like the camera since it gives them cookies.

Dory Dress Up

Dory likes wearing sweaters in the winter; she gets cold easily and will gladly come and get a hot pink sweater.  She also does dress up without minding much at all. We think she looks like the dog from the Grinch that stole Christmas with the antlers on. Maybe she is just doing it for all the cookies she gets?
