Tie-dyed Dog

Tie-Dye dog

Very safe dye for the dog; it is actually just food coloring.  I think he likes the attention when he is being dyed and afterward when everyone is looking at him.

Dog Park Finder iPhone App

Dog Park USA.com is pleased to announce that a new Dog Park Finder iPhone application is being designed. Since DogParkUSA.com has the most complete listing of dog parks, we thought it would be a great way to share our knowledge with many others. All of the great ratings and reviews will be available too.

We hope to get this app out soon, and we will give more updates as we progress.

New Logo

We just want to show off our new logo. We hope it captures the freedom and fun of the off leash play time all our dogs love.  We have over 2000 dog parks and legal off leash play areas listed on our website.

New Parks in Ohio and Texas

We are glad to report that two new parks in Columbus, Ohio (the Three Creeks Dog Park and Wheeler Memorial Dog Park) have recently opened.

Also in Houston, Texas the Bay Area Dog Park has opened.

It is always good to see more and more cities adding dog friendly play areas and parks for us to use.

K9 Korral, Greenest Dog Park

The K9 Korral has been noticed to be the greenest dog park around. Read about how they are 100% green at Mother Nature Network. Find directions and descriptions at the dog park page.

Dog Party

Summer is always a great time for a walk or a meet up at the dog park or just in someones yard.  I think there were 6 dogs this one night.  It is more like a parade taking 6 dogs and a few kids on a walk in the summer evenings but a ton of fun.  The dogs just love doing tricks for the kids to get little pieces of dog treats.

Travel Section goes BETA

Here at DogParkUSA.com we are glad to announce that we have created a new pet travel section. Thousands of pet friendly hotels now have been added to compliment our maps of dog parks. Now our guests can make travel plans centered around their favorite dog friends, finding hotels with nearby dog parks at the same time.

We will be expanding the hotel listing and adding features as we continue to build, so come back often.

New Parks coming to Houston

Many new dog parks are coming to Houston, Texas in the next few months. At least 6 new parks will be opening this Spring and Summer that go along with the other 20 that are in the area already.

We hope all you playful canines have a great time in your new play areas.

Kids and dogs

This is one of Rhupert, Dory, Gus-Gus, and Lily's best human friends.  They just love kids and are more than happy to give kisses and tail wags.

New Dog Park City Pages

Finally, we have categorized all of our dog parks by cities as well as states and counties. Each state page, now has a list of cities where dog parks can be found making it easier for visitors to find great dog parks in their areas, such as Dog Parks in Denver.

Soon we will also be adding the 5 star rating to the map markers, making it even easier to find quality parks in your area.

Santa Dory

Santa dog

Still digging out photos from the Holidays. Dory had two Santa hats.  I think the larger one is much cuter.  She always likes getting her picture taken because she gets dog biscuits.  All the dogs like to sniff the camera as well.

Still going strong

A new Spring let's us celebrate all the dog parks that have been listed here at DogParkUSA.com. Over 1250 have been listed, making us the most comprehensive listing of dog parks on the Web.

Visit our article which details what areas have been covered, and where we still need help locating more dog parks in your area. And above all else, get outside and play with your pups.

Lily

Lily came to a couple of our dog parties this summer while she was in foster care.  She did find a permanent home with good owners and a little poodle buddy.  She was a very pretty soft dog and still visits the dog park regularly.

Yawn, Lick Nose, Stretch

dog stretch

This is Rhupert's morning yawn and stretch exercise. This is a photo blog, nothing more needs to be said.

Reindeer Dogs

reindeer dogs

A little late, but these pics from Christmas were too cute. Dory and Rhupert make for some very lazy reindeer.

Quilting Dogs

It is nearly impossible to get anything done with them around.  They insisted on laying on the blanket through the entire sewing process.  I guess they think dogs can quilt.

Santa Rhupert 2008

Santa Dog

A bit late, but this is Rhupert's first Christmas with us and probably his second Christmas in his whole life.  I tried to find the hat that fit him and he was happy to pose for a few pics.

Christmas Dogs

Just wanted a good photo for the Christmas letter and they are more than happy to sit for awhile after playing.  Sleepy dogs are always well behaved.

Yawning II

Dory and Rhupert help Greg

Dory is teaching Rhupert how to help Greg.  They help him eat.  They help him when he works at home.  Dory knows the word "homework"; and comes into the office and finds her spot.  And I think Rhupert is catching on quickly.  He fidgets more and plays on the rug with chew toys and balls still but is generally a good dog.
