I am visiting all dogs parks in Colorado Springs. This one is by the far worst yet. No trees, no shade, no water, nothing. It is a small fenced in area that has one sad little bench all by itself. The park has a sign outside about who made it or donated to making it or something. Points are giving for making an effort, but the effort fell very short of a nice place to sit and let your puppy run around. I also have pictures that I will add if I can figure out how. Also there is no small dog area, so if you go to this one be prepared to have your dog around all sizes. Oh, there are two doggie bag stations one of the far side and one right next to the entrance but there are no trash cans. So people just pile dirty dog bags next to the gate.

It's a pretty small park with no bells and whistles. It's simply a fenced in area next to a school playground, but it's a GREAT location for Ft. Carson soldiers and for all the surrounding apartments. It's a brief walk or drive, so it's pretty convenient. There are no trees or rivers or anything fancy, but it is completely fenced in so I feel comfortable letting my dog off leash without having to worry about losing sight of him. A great park for local apartment dwellers.
