RELOCATED 2010 to the west side of the park. Originally opened June 12, 2001. This dog park has a separate small dog area, benches, water spigots, drinking fountains, astroturf, and lighting. The city is calling the relocated dog park - BART Dog Park.

The New Fremont Park is open, it is excellent. Much nicer than the old park. There are a lot more rules... Dogs must be licensed and have their tags with them. Dogs must be vaccinated but it does not specify which vacinations. This has to be one of the top dog parks around. There are 2 seperate parks, large and small dogs. The large dog park is astroturf and the small dog park is grass.
