Carson City wants a Dog Park

Recently, dog owners that regularly attend the off leash area at Fuji Park have been circulating a petition for a fenced dog park.  Carson City currently does not have a dog park but many dogs can be found in the afternoons enjoying the off leash area at Fuji Park. There will be a meeting with the city's Parks and Recreation staff in the community center on May 12, 2008 from 5:30-7pm.  The citizen's would like an off leash area to separate the dogs and children that both use this park.
