The estimated cost is $60-65K and the primary cost is the fencing. There will be fund raisers and local donations to help create this dog park. Danny Weemes is instrumental in getting this park established; he wants to give back after a service dog helped him recover from a near death motorcycle accident. Mobile Dog Park community based organization is taking donations for the park. South Alabama Dog Owner's Group supports responsible dog ownership in the area.
