As we enter a new springtime, we are please to be highlighting over 1250 dog parks and still going strong! This includes fenced and unfenced, completely legal, off leash play areas, whether they are city, county, state, or privately owned. So, the challenge is to continue adding more dog parks to our maps, as we are sure there are several hundred more to go simply to keep current. All your reviews and photos are greatly welcome in describing your favorite dog parks and its features. Obviously we can't visit them all.

We challenge you to help us find all of the legal off leash play areas across the county and beyond (we have a new international area). We have the hardest time finding brand NEW dog parks, as cities and counties tend to be behind on updating their websites. We like to list them after they have been approval but are still raising funds and building. Also, dog parks that are in small cities or rural areas tend to be harder to locate.

At this point, we think we have all the legal off leash locations listed in: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Colorado, Delaware, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Mississippi, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Oregon, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Vermont, West Virginia, and Wyoming. If we have missed any dog parks (even privately owned ones) in these states or if there is a new one opening just let us know! It would be greatly appreciated by us and also some very energetic dogs.

We started this listing on the west coast, so we apologize to you out near the Atlantic for the slow progress in some of those states. Also we are hoping to break California (with over 200 dog parks already listed) and some of the more populous states into regional pages so the dog parks are even easier to locate. We know that I have not listed all of the parks in: California, Florida, Arizona, Connecticut, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, North Carolina, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and Wisconsin parks…. If you want your dog park listed just let me know and we will list it right away.
